Before the update to 1.5 it was possible to upload photos in avatars and news feeds but now since the update it says 'file upload fail' all the time.
Any fixes ?

did you set permission 777 in ow-userfiles or you have to remove the plugin photo in ow-plugins en install it again, that wil help i think

Make sure that following folders exist on your server:
-folder "avatar" under /ow_userfiles/plugins/base/
- folder "avatars" under /ow_pluginfiles/base/
Make sure that both have 777 permissions.

Vladimir, advanced upload uses flash uploader which is originally designed only for images.
Simple upload is a standard uploader which sees all file formats.
