I thought this is the best place to ask for a recommendation. My usual solicitor has retired and the firm she works for is literally loaded with case works due to the stamp duty holiday.  Wonder if any one can recommend a good conveyancing solicitor. I am actually doing an equity transfer of a London flat to my partner along with a mortgage (thanks to the stamp duty holiday) which in theory is low risk but surprisingly fiddly conveyancing work. Been told to get someone experienced as it is a rather non-standard transaction. Before someone pointing out the existence of a search function - I have actually tried to find london solicitors(very hard!) and surprisingly very few names I could actually find.
