I just completely re installed my website a few weeks ago do to all the 500 error crap that was going on.

Everything has been working fine.

Today, I log my admin panel. 1 plug in available for update.

I update the anti spammer plug in via the admin panel, and boom, I'm 500 errored out again.

I'm actually rather pissed off atm. This is ridiculous....

Facing the same problem...
I think, due to the update process occurs is not perfect (not completed) or rejected by the server....
in my site, for a while I deactivated that plugin and
solve the 500 problems

Certainly the update process is the culprit. If I update, it foobars, if I delete and install the new version, everything works fine.
