We tried to update our site but have run into a problem which is preventing us from using it. We had the hotlist plugin on our site and when we visit our news feed or dashboard we get a 500 error. The warning messages point to the hotlist plugin. I have tried to upload a fresh copy but that didnt work, its deactivated but cant be uninstalled, also when you try to activate it you get a 550 error. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I had to go into file manager and remove the plugin folder from there, I then went to admin panel and activated the hotlist plugin which said it activated but gave me the option to uninstall. I uninstalled it and the issue was there, I reinstalled the hotlist and problem went away.
