Display: when clicked opens up the computers display properties where you can change the following:


Computer theme which is the background plus system sounds, icons and other odds and ends that relate to personalizing your PC.

Desktop background picture and position.

Screen Saver settings.

Appearance such as the color scheme for windows, font size, etc.

Settings such as which display adapter to use, the screen resolution, the color quality and other advanced display settings such as the DPI setting, Screen Refresh Rate, and Hardware acceleration to name a few.

Folder Options: is where you can adjust how folders and files are displayed. Some of the settings you can adjust include:


Whether to open a selected folder in the current window or a new one.

Whether or not a single or double click is required to open an item.

Display the full file path in the address bar

Show hidden files or not

Hide file extensions or not

Adjust the registered file types

Fonts: is a folder where all the computers current registered fonts are stored.


Game Controllers: is a utility that allows you to add/adjust the settings of joysticks and game-pads that are attached to your computer.


Internet Options: a tool to adjust internet explorer settings such as:


What home page to use

How to store temporary internet files

Delete temporary internet settings

How many days to keep temp files

Adjust how webpage's are displayed in tabs

Adjust colors to use

Manipulate language preferences

The font to use when a specified font is not declared

Security settings such as sites that are trusted or restricted

Privacy settings that control what cookies are stored on your computer - among other things.

Turn on or off popup blocker

Adjust auto complete settings

Change your feeder settings

Add dial-up or VPN networks or adjust their settings

Change LAN settings such as use a proxy or not

Set the default programs for internet services like email and html editing

Adjust advance settings like automatically check for internet explorer updates, check for signatures on download programs, etc.

You can also Reset Internet Explorer Settings back to defaults, this is a handy feature if internet explorer is not working or behaving erratically.
