i have a site set to joining by invitation
when a potential member clicks on "signup"
they will see the following text
Sorry, site registration is closed
however, i would like to change the wording
which file can i edit? what is the path to that file?

the joining is not closed, but rather is by invitation only

hi, i looked but could not find the "admin" directory
there is a ow_core/language.php, but it is a short file and it does not
contain the text in it
any other suggestion
the new version of oxwall dont have an admin folder
they all start with ow_ but there is not ow_admin

Jesus, you will need to contact your hosting provider with this error. Seems like some kind of server settings doesn't allow you to save your changes into that folder.

Just thought I'd let you all know I've managed to change the text Sorry, site registration is closed. Which has only taken me all day.
Sign in to your site as admin go to so yoursite/admin/settings/languages simply type the text you are wanting to change , in this instance Sorry, site registration is closed.
Change the text to suit your needs and save (It worked for me )
