I live in a one bedroom house (that I own) that is connected to a symmetrical/identical house next door so my house has one half of the sloped roof and the neighbours has the other half. They put up scaffolding on Monday and works began yesterday (Thursday) to do some sort of work to their side of the roof. I have two questions relating to this: 

1) Should they have told us that noisy works were going to happen? The noise has been pretty much constant Thursday/Friday, in terms of hammering, drills, tiles moving etc Roofing Repairs boomington. I work from home so it has been difficult. I have noticed as well that some work they were doing has made my whole house vibrate. 

2) I noticed today walking back towards my house that the contractor was stood on my side of the roof. Again, should I have been informed that they would be standing on my property? I am concerned that they could ultimately damage my side of the roof. Advice welcomed!
