I CAN NOT ACCESS OXWALL FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER | Forum

Hello,

I m a new user of oxwall.

I ve try to install oxwall with wamp server and after some difficuties i succeded. But i can not access the site from another computer of my LAN (local area network).

When in the browser (google chrome) i enter the URL (like 192.168.1.x) of the computer that host oxwall i can see the folder (oxwall) of the website, but by clickin on it the url becomes 127.0.0.1/oxwall.

I though the problem was about the wamp server and i ve install AMPPS. I used softaculous to install oxwall but il is the same thing. i can not access to my website from another computer in the network.

Can somebody help me ?

You can try to access by using the IP address of the computer where you installed.

thanks Purusothaman Ramanujam but when i do that the browser show this message

"Web page unavailable

Connection to 192.167.1.7 was interrupted"

192.168.1.7 is the IP Adress of the computer where oxwall has been installed.

I have also try it without the firewall but the result is the same

Tota tata, have you tried installing anything else on your computer ( Word Press, for example) and then accessing this installation from another computer in your network?

I am pretty sure that the problem is not with the Oxwall, but with your network set up.

THANKS EVERYBODY I HAVE FINALY FIND HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM

JUST FOLLOW THIS TREE STEPS

1 open the folder xxxxx/ow_includes (xxxxx as the name of your oxwall project)

2 Edit the config.php file

3 Change this line " define('OW_URL_HOME', 'http://127.0.0.1/xxxxx/');" by

" define('OW_URL_HOME', 'http://192.168.1.10/xxxxx/');"

Here the ip adress 192.168.1.10 is the adress of the computer where oxwall is installed
