•        In the beginning, the user should open the Run box [Win + R short keys], and then type in "cmd" within the box. Followed by that, the user should hit the Enter key.

•        The next step requires typing "Regsvr 32 MSXML3.dll" and "Regsvr 32 MSXML4.dll" in the command prompt and hit the Enter key.

•        When the message confirming the registration of both the files shows, the user can run QuickBooks and open the company file again.
