Johan, what kind of emails are not being sent?

All email possibilities don't SEND. Inviting Friends, MASS MAIL, VALIDATION emails.... All of them do not send.

Johan, let's check with the verificaiton email.
Make sure you have set "site email" in admin panel>>settings>>main settings>>main.
Turn on email verification feature.
Let me know your site URL so that I can test.

The TEST "sends" fine or rather reports that it is OK and tells me YOU MAY NOW SEND MAIL FROM THIS SITE USING THIS PORT ..or something like that but nothing arrives wherever it gets sent to.
I also looked at eddie's image ... My settings are exactly like Eddie's on the image. Still does'nt work.
Makes NO sense to me. I have been using OXWALL for around 4 years now and never ever could I get the mail SENDING to work from there.

It doesn't end out a verification email. It does report that it has sent one but it never goes anywhere

Strange now.... It sends an EMAIL Confirmation message but none other ????

Email confirmation dare sent immediately. 

With the update to 1.5.1, oxwall sends only email notifications only if the user has not logged in for more than 2 days.

i was referring to when someone signs up NEWLY... Only then (at this moment in time) my site sends out a confirmation email. NO OTHER MAIL GETS SENT AT ALL. Menaning : MASS MAIL, CONTACT US mail, INVITATION mail.... All these dont go anywhere.
It tells me 'EMAIL SUCCESSFULLY SENT" but it never arrives anywhere.

May be thats due to the outgoing email limit by you host.

Can I have your admin panel username  and pass ( PM me) and your permission to replace your SMTP settings with mine so that I can run a couple of tests ?

Now Again Nothing Works as far as EMAIL sending from the site.

My admin panel username is = admin
the admin password = doctor59j

Anybody going to help us here?? What should we now do to get our sites to send email ??
