A Guide to Setting Up Mobile Sync at QuickBooks POS:

Step 1:

Start by clicking on Sign In for your Intuit Payments account within QuickBooks POS.

Step 2:

Next, navigate to File and select Setup Interview options.

Step 3:

Visit the Edit Settings tab and choose the appropriate options for your business. Suggestions will be automatically selected, and you can make adjustments accordingly.

Step 4:

Opt for QuickBooks File then go to Preferences and select Company Preferences to turn on mobile sync. You can also customize the sync frequency as needed.

Step 5:

To manually perform Mobile Sync, click the cloud icon on the top right-hand corner of your QuickBooks POS.

Steps to Sync Inventory to GoPayment:

Step 1:

Access the item list and choose the item you want to sell in GoPayment.

Step 2:

Click Edit in the More Information widget, and then select the Sync to Mobile checkbox.

Step 3:

Click Save to complete the process.

Steps to Sync Departments to Your Mobile Device:

Step 1:

Go to Point of Sale and click on Inventory then select Department List.

Step 2:

Click on the Department tab in the Department Column and sort the department names.

Step 3:

If needed, edit or change the department names accordingly.

Step 4:

Complete the mobile sync.

Completing Mobile Sync in GoPayment:

Step 1:

Open the GoPayment app on your mobile device.

Step 2:

Register for your QB Payments Account within the app.

Step 3:

Open the menu and go to Settings.

Step 4:

Click Sync Item under Sync Settings.

Step 5:

To test the GoPayment device, choose New Payment and tap on Items and Departments to check your list.
