PS038 is a payroll error and usually arises when you attempt a payroll update. This can be fixed by the solution we are providing you here: 

• Update your QuickBooks application

• For the same, login to your QuickBooks application and click on the help tab

• Then click on the Update QuickBooks Desktop option followed by Update Now and Get updates.

• Let the updates get downloaded. Then install the QuickBooks application by agreeing to the terms and conditions.
