+1 russo me too i dont receive any email confirmation

note: i've setup SMTP already and its working.
all emails notifications for me is working except email confirmation :)

Russo, verification email is not connected to  CRON.
Can I have access to your admin panel and FTP to check this issue?

Mine go to the junk mail, maybe check there also if you are not receiving?

I am having real issues with my mail as well, I am now on my third account all with different providers to see if the issue is with them. I insert my details, save them, then check it's working and all seems well, but I have never received an email yet. Help, any ideas? It was very much similar to Russo but I tried all he did with no effect.

Having the same problem - I think.  Some seem to work.  Others do not.

We did setup a cron job which seemed to empty the outbound mass mailing queue.

As long as the server you are all on is setup correctly phpmail should work. I run a hosting company and run 3 sites with Oxwall and all go though phpmail and every one receives every email sent. 

Guys, it is always worth testing SMTP  using "external" mail server. For example, gmail (http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287).

If gmail SMTP sends out emails ok, then the issue is in your mail server's settings.
