My sister has recently found out she has menopause, though she is only 40. Her husband also couldn't understand her behavior. Fortunately, she uses Premarin Cream with estrogen now and is doing much better. She orders it at the Canada Drugs site.
My advice is not to guess but to find out the reason. Maybe your wife also requires medical treatment.
