Windows Update:

Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest updates and service packs. Installing the latest Windows updates can resolve issues related to the Windows Installer service.


Change Group Policy Settings:

QuickBooks Error 1625 is often related to Group Policy settings that restrict software installations. You may need to adjust these settings. Here's how:

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

Type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor.

Navigate to "Computer Configuration" > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Windows Installer."

On the right panel, locate "Prohibit non-administrator users from applying vendor-signed updates." Double-click it to open its properties.

Select "Disabled," then click "Apply" and "OK."

Close the Group Policy Editor.


Reattempt QuickBooks Update:
