Dear Oxwall community,

I'm a new oxwall user and I'm still testing the oxwall-script. Everything works fine.

For my website, our focus is laying on profiles ánd a big public chat. We used to have 123flashchat but we where not glad with it.

Now I'm looking for something else. As I said, a public chat is the biggest need. However we need good and advanced moderation tools as well.

Since I'm from 'the good old IRC' period, I'm thinking of using it again.
I saw websoftware like LightIRC. Works as a charm but there is no Oxwall (username) integration. It would be awesome if people don't need to fill in their name/password again.

I also watched the chat plugins so far for Oxwall. But it's not much.

Are there people who also have a public chat integrated with Oxwall? Any tips of alternatives about big chat's?

I hope there is someone out here that can help me!

I've been looking deeper in using LightIRC. It would be awesome to have guest chatters but more important; have logged in chatters that automaticly will have their Oxwall username in the chat as well.

But I don't understand the above tutorial. Can someone maybe explain it a bit easier to realize that?

DOUBLE EDIT:

Integration with http://www.phpfreechat.net/ would be awesome as well. I see name/password/avatar should be possible. (It has integrations with other software as well)

Did you find anything to help with this I have also looked into getting chat so it connects to irc server and use members details rather than guest.. I've searched the web and can't find any integrations to irc with oxwall it must be a custom job

If you are looking for a decent chat, easy to integrate, full of features you may want to look into this:

I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to. Has mobile chat support and everything. So when 1.6 is out, it would work pretty damn slick I would imagine.

I personally déconseil http://codologic.com/ there are easy to divert it are not reliable I just take it and all the function does not work

IRc chat integration would be epic with oxwall, gosh knows how one would go about doing it, would have to have a plugin made or more so your own Irc client built id say for best results.

but deff something id be very interested in. would need all the standard features of Irc Scripts, popups, Dcc file transfers, Moderation Ect.. and then some new ones like user integration with existing oxwall accounts.

not sure this is right forum for this tho. would be nice to see a thread started about what it would need and how we could go about it, maybe just to gauge how much interest a plugin like this would generate.
