Now, on second thoughts, I am confused.

What or from where did you try to send emails? Invite Friends, for instance?

Or you mean mass mailing.

I have tried sending email from :
INVITE NEW MEMBER (in admin panel)
CONTACT US (at bottom of site)
MASS MAILING
VERIFICATION email

NONE OF THE ABOVE WORK...
It reports "Email Sent" but it doesn't go anywhere or arrive anywhere

Conclusion : NO EMAL SENDING WORKS

Is cron running?

Have you setup SMTP or default mail settings?

Are you able to see emails in the ow_base_mail table? If the content is present there, it means that your cron is not running.

Help reached at last :)

My Contact Us plugin is not sending mail either.  I saw the post above, where is the ow_base_mail table file located?

OK, I found it. First time I have been there. It says 0 records.

Email Verify works though.

I sent a message to myself and then check the database and the message is there. When I run the cron it then shows 0 records but I never get the email. I have tried two email addresses and I don't get the email at either one.

Hmmm, it is working now. Has not worked since I setup oxwall but ever since I logged into my data base and looked inside that file it seems to be working.. Strange.

Just check with your host and ask for your email server log.

Some host has limit on sending X number of mails/hour.

Also check if the mails are in your spam.

Email verification won't work at times for reasons that have nothing to do with Oxwall.

The worst part of it is that a screen that announces the 'sent' news.  The screen/page just won't go away until you get the Oxwall mail, click the confirmation link, and see a new page opening for you to enter. If somehow the mail is not delivered, you are stuck with that page for good.

Purush, it needs a QUIT button, really.

  Why ??

It's usually php or wget to use for cron. so contact your cron to get the command for that.
