I’m considering joining a local gym at the VIP level with all-club
access. I used the company’s live chat feature on their website to
inquire about the cost of their Kids Club and was told it’s included
with the VIP membership.
I thought this would be reasonable deal and went to tour one of the gyms
today. The rep told me not only is it *not* included, it’s $24.99 per
kid, per month with extremely limited hours. He said the live chat
feature is an AI bot that doesn’t always get the details right.
So, if I were to press the issue, should a company have to honor the
info I was given and include Kids Club in my VIP membership?
