Ok boys, need some help. I am in China and in the last few years the government here have clamped down on VPNs and the internet in general . All the usually one like Express VPN, Astril, Nord rarely work despite their usual bullshit marketing. Even if you manage to get it working it seems like that government throttle the incoming speeds to suspected IP agrees that its like a 56K dial up modem .
Whatever the technological reason is reason, Apple phone , iPad seems ok , however I need a Windows PC solution for work, (and perhaps a bit of light hearted tyranny midget porn).

A mate mentioned that it may be possible to rent a private server space with a dedicated IP address in UK and have all traffic route through that? Is that possible?

Cheers

Renting a private server space with a dedicated IP in the UK could be a workaround worth exploring. It's not foolproof, but it might offer more stability than the commercial VPNs. Plus, routing all your traffic through it could potentially bypass some of the throttling issues you're experiencing. As for proxies, I've heard good things about Residential Proxies Provider. They can offer a more reliable and less detectable solution compared to traditional data center proxies. Might be worth giving them a shot.
