I'm a developer and familiar with MVC frameworks and PHP etc and I would like to begin developing plug-ins for Oxwall. I can't find much in the documentation. What software do you use to develop an Oxwall Plugin (Zend etc)? and when completed and tested how does one go about submitting it to the Oxwall Store.

Please help I'm really confused.

Hello Rose,

Oxwall is built using the own core engine based on MVC model. To start a development, you should install this environment:

- any LAMP installation like MAMP, Denver etc

- the latest Oxwall version installed locally

- any IDE you prefer to use (NetBeans, Zend Studio etc)

I'd suggest you to start from Crash Course to learn main concepts of plugin development and basic requirements.

More useful links can be found in docs section: http://docs.oxwall.org/dev:index

As you will finish a plugin, submit it to Store here http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/add/plugin
