I was trying to install a module and had to give the ftp account details. In my account i dont have a password and it says invalid FTP account. What can i do?

Every cPanel (or whatever you use) will have a default ftp account. Or you can create one of your own.

that really tells us nothing.
Are you paying for hosting every month for the site?
Who is your host?
Do you have access through cPanel or Plesk?
Do they manage your site for you ?

I have had this issue before just set a password for your ftp as oxwall requires something in the password field
