I resolved the first issue by editing this line from actions_index.html
{if $smarty.foreach.myLoop.index % 5 == 0 && $smarty.foreach.myLoop.index != 0}
I replaced the 5 with a 4
You also have to do the same with action_search.html and action_genre.html
{if $smarty.foreach.myLoop.index % 5 == 0 && $smarty.foreach.myLoop.index != 0}

I cant find the code that control how many backdrop images there are, any advice?

I will modify the plugin to have these values as settings in admin so that you can easily control.

Issue is fixed. Thanks again. Now there is a new option in admin to chose the count of movies to be shown in a row.
