1.7 Messages Error | Forum

1.7 Upgrade seems to have gone well apart from the messages section.

I've set it to Mailbox only, but there seems to be an error in getting the messages, and also in the base_ping when message details are checked.

I seem to get these errors:

[09-Jul-2014 11:10:06 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error:  Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/owned/public_html/trythis/ow_core/entity.php on line 65

Sean you will need to increase the limit: php_value memory_limit

As to the ping error, enable debug mode and see what the actual error are and paste them here, so we could proceed.

Debug mode is enabled, but nothing is included with the the ping response, see attached:

The only errors I'm getting in the log are the limit ones.

Alright, increase the limit first and see if the errors persists.

Increased to 100MB, but still the same error, you can see that the memory size limit has been increased, but it's still saying not enough :/

Okay it's definitely the mailbox plugin.

When I disable it the ping requests respond OK with code 200.

Humm, not sure what else I can do to narrow the issue down?

Any ideas on this yet? I can't narrow it down any further, it's the messaging plugin somewhere along the line.

It's not that, I have a dedicated server, which is running at less than 5% cpu at all times.

My server is MORE than capable of handling oxwall.

This is a error that's happening with the ping response from the messages plugin, nothing to do with server load.

Just updated to your new version, now it doesn't even like the 128MB limit for script memory!!

I'm reluctant to increase the memory limit even more, it should not need that much.

Ross has my FTP details to log into my test site, but I've not heard anything all weekend. I guess they are not back until tomorrow.
