any one know what happened to the dev Thao Le.

I found out about Roxwall and im not to happy with it.

This dev has made spvideo, Simple Seo, and a few other ones.

This developer was a genius along with a few other ones and Oxwall Deleted them.

Im not understanding what is going on here.

Why every time I find a good developer Oxwall shuts them down but all the devs that makes plugins that do not work or horrible themes stay on here.

Does oxwall only allow failure?

I have themes and plugins that i have purchased just a few months ago that I can't get support for any more because oxwall has deleted there account.

Forever now im always going to have a theme update but no key to enter to make the update happened.

PLEASE for the love of god do not delete devs that has customers that are happy. There should be a voting process for this.

Message directly to Oxwall " There is such things out there called internet trolls" Every time you get a complaint from some one you need to verify by Ip email and when they registered before you take there complaint seriously.

Now other customers also now cannot get support.

This place seems like it is crashing and burning and Needs New Management or this project isn't going to last much longer.

+1 Good question! Spvideo was a best video extension here. Now is gone. /facepalm/

I really like this script but you're right, w/o developers to create plugins and keep them up-to-date, it limits the power, flexibility and appeal of the script. There was a really good $40 microblogging/Fb script on CodeCanyon I purchased b/c there were 4 good add-ons to provide the extras I needed. Only they upgraded the core product and the add-ons weren't compatible and the devs wouldn't fix it. So I had to scrap it. Shame too as it came with the cover images that will cost you $70 on here.

If you can't rely on the plugins staying around and up-to-date, you can't build on the core script. I keep running into this problem again and again.

I like just about everything with Oxwall except some critical missing features and the reliability and options of the plugins to provide them.

Do you know that oxwall deleted them, or did the devs pack up and leave of their own accord?

It does make a difference, and it seems just, to speak accurately. I liked Thao's plugins a lot, and am very, very disappointing to learn that he (and his plugins) have gone :/

Im waiting on Thao to reply Roxwall is the other dev im talking about and they deleted him because 2 trolls kept complaining about him and kept giving him bad ratings. They basically was ruining him with bad reviews so he deleted the themes that was so bad to them and that made oxwall ban him.

I think Oxwall should protect good developers and allow the customers to have a voice about their experience with the developer. Roxwall was one of the best theme creators on here. Any time i needed something customized about his theme he always helped me in a 4- 8 hour period. Even on weekends.

Thao was a really good dev to and has helped me a lot with oxwall. Thao did what oxwall wouldn't and has revolutionized the Video's area and added major SEO improvements that people been wishing for for years. Now he is a gonner to.

Its a sad day in the Oxwall community now.

I got word back from Thao. He replied

About my Oxwall account, I have read your topic, really thank you for the supporting. Oxwall didnt delete my account and plugins, I deleted them myself. It's nothing to do with Oxwall team, they have done great works and I love the way Oxwall was built. I just don't like some of users as I told you about, "wefly.." something.
Don't worry about the plugins, they are still open source and downloadable on my github page: https://github.com/SongPhi
I just need some time to restructure my business, I don't want to tag any price on my works, but you can see the open source/crowd funding model Im using wasnt bringing any good, so I need to find another way, and be back soon :)

He left because he was getting the same treatment Roxwall was from people that just want to troll. He removed his stuff before the same thing would happen to him like Roxwall.

The Oxwall Team should be alot better in moderating these users that r just causing problems because it is making devs not want to stick around.

I hope every thing soon clears up. I love this platform but I feel like it is not a first choice project for the Oxwall team and it just gets the left over development and spare time from other projects.

I will invest more money into development soon and hopefully it can increase to a faster production.

Well I feel better knowing that the oxwall team did not delete Thao. I have experienced good things from the oxwall team and the devs here. It seems a shame that a small minority of trolls spoil it for the rest of us. The internet sucks, sometimes. I hope we can find a way to resolve such issues, so that Thao comes back, and others don't leave.

i think there have been a lot of spammers coming to oxwall recently my site has a spammer who obviously knows the site runs off oxwall software as he is trying to access forum even though my site doesn't have forums

Oxwall has to bring him back. It's not right that they didn't protect a well known developer that has a lot of happy customers.
