That depends on the terms of use of the plugin developer in what cases he provides a refund.

i was read this on paypals website:
Purchase Protection covers all eligible purchases where PayPal is used, as well as payments made through our website. sell and close plugin and resell it again after 1-2 years gone. i think this is the startegy here at oxwall. and this strategy works very good for the dev but very bad for the buyers
just to popup with a new profile here at oxwall after 1 or 2 years... nobody will notice anything
clean the store from 150 plugins and resell them later... nobody will notice anything ...very nice startegy
