Trouble with Safari and Internet Explorer 11 - Emojis and Smileys | Forum

We ran into a problem today when we installed the emoji plugin
we purchased two days ago. After we installed it, we had a problem with
using Internet Explorer 11 (the newest version) and Safari. We were unable
to log out of our site, could not send a message to another user and were
not able to use an emoji in the blog area. We also were not able to click
on the message or notification tabs on the top right hand corner of the
site. We uninstalled the emoji plug in and those features came back. We would really like to include the emojis in our site – can you let us know how to make it work?

Hi Nikolas Kontaratos !

I just released an update with some bug fixes, please update the Emojis and Smileys plugin directly with your control panel (recomended), or download it again and upload manually via ftp.

If the problem persists after the update or you upload manually the update, please follow this steps after the updates:

Please tell me if your problem is solved after the update or it still remains.

Thank you!

I can say the All of the top bar option in IE11 &  work perfect. I'll try testing them within blogs and chats with those browsers soon. But the top bar including signing-out all or fine. So 100% marks for that fix.Thank you.

Yes. It all works now just fine in blogs, chat, comments, etc. Everything. My advice to anyone would be Deactivate the Plugin first, then delete it. From there you’ll have a clean upload and install. Great job! Thanks again.

You are welcome, if you have any other issue please feel free to start a new topic or send me a PM.

It would be very much appreciated if you can edit the topic and add (Solved) so other users know that is now fixed. Thank you!

Enjoy your plugin!
