It has not yet been fully tested on PHP7.

Thank you, Dave!

My hoster recently has changed my php version to 7. And said that site will work faster. And it does.I'm using oxwall and 3d party plugins on it and afraid that some problems can happen then.
Please tell me, which version better suits me?

The experience so far from users is that it works fine on 5.5, intermittent on 5.6 and we dont know about 7, no feedback yet that i know of.

Thank you for the replies. My server hosting agency just told me the same, that upgrading to php7 would make my site faster.

I still hesitate to try if there are not enough experiences so far :(

There was a post where someone tried php7 on 1.8.3, but they did have issues with the newsfeed status. I'm not sure about other areas. It's best to wait until the team announces compatibility.

So it does run smoothly for a while?

Did you downgrade it for things to work?

I have a server with PHP7 as well, going to try Oxwall on it tonight.

Well... I didn't actually come up with any conclusion since the sever dramatically broke down on its own, the PHP version was not compatible with my cpanel settings somehow.

:(I hope someone could carry on this experiment.

Any increase in performance is not worth jumping the gun folks.  I know everyone is all excited about php7 but just wait.  Wait for Oxwall to announce it, wait for the industry to use it enough as a mass to point out and fix issues.   Your not going to solve anything by jumping the gun and getting in the water while there are still sharks present.
