Newfeeds erreur at Oxwall Software Forum

Yes i agree but like you i have other things i am doing, and i feel like i am doing skadate support for them, and i am doing it for free. With the other things i am doing, oxwall related and not oxwall related, i dont have tons of time to just sit and filter through a corrupt newsfeed install.

This is the time of year where my outdoor projects kick in and i need to attend to them as well.

I will continue to try to help him and others but i have to do it in the time i have away from other projects.

if no time and it is only the newsfeed plugin that make problem, then try remove the newsfeed plugin and the mysql tables that belongs to that plugin. at least he can use his website. newsfeed is not a skadate plugin and not belongs to skadate standard software. it is a oxwall plugin that he added after he buy license

No, NewsFeed is included with SkaDate and appears as installed but disabled. At least in the latest version which is the one I have and am studying. It's not an OxWall plugin, it's both platforms.

Even with a removal of the newsfeed plugin and a reinstallation with the updated version, the same problem remains.

No it is not a skadate plugin it is a oxwall plugin that working on 1 of 4 skadate platforms. I hope in next mobile update they will add it to they other 3 mobile platforms. But they update they software every 2 years so we need wait 2 years now after they new update they release in april

1. contact skadate support they will help you

2. if skadate not help you contact you host for they looking apache error log and php error log and mysl error logs

and see if they find anything beause if you are on shared host then usely you no access to all this error logs if not not ask them show them

i guess dave already looked the oxwall error log and cron so no need to do that

Pat,

Are you sure you are still running php 5.6 ?

try this...

Pull up your language and make the default language as english, then pull up the edit language section and dont make any changes, just save it. I have read a very old post that this might work, its worth a try.

Also

Open up your phpmyadmin and click on the variables tab up at the top of the page..

Then do a search in the box for strict

it should look like this

i think:

1. check all server requirements you have or not have https://www.skadate.com/hosting-requirements

Litespeed is not tested if work with oxwall fully yet what i know....but maybe someone have test it with oxwall

if you use shared host then garbage because they safety cpanel setups usely never works good with oxwall software and you need beg them for change they security to not bee so much secure as they want. and have in mind not all server companys let you change they cpanel security

they set limits on all things because they not like you use alof of they server cpu and ram and other things. shared servers is garbage. try use shared host company that instaleed oxwall software before and know what requirements oxwall needs

Litespeed is just fine for the API for oxwall... i use it to serve up my PHP files. Actually im not sure about skadate, i dont have skadate installed.

My version, pat do you have this version also... it will be in your phpinfo output (first page)
