If you upload a new one from your device, next time you try to insert an image you will see the previous images in the gallery section.

I understand what you are trying to do, but that's not how this plugins works, it is not a bug, it is the way they were made. Your photos uploaded from the PHOTOS plugin, do not show up in there as they are independent plugins. If you want your photos from the PHOTOS plugin to show up in there, you need to make a plugin for it.
