My experience with AWS has not been good, due to their (at times) strange configurations it has caused strange results.

I do not recommend hosting Oxwall on AWS, that is my preferrence from past experiences.

I am also not familar with all of those features, this would be a question to ask AWS directly.

Yes, Oxwall will run fine on AWS, but as Dave mentioned, there are many differences with AWS than with regular hosting that can complicate things. Once setup and configured properly though, even a micro EC2 instance will be fairly stable and quick.

To run on AWS you will need to deploy and configure these AWS Services:
EC2 - Server
RDS - Database

Security Groups - Network Port / Connection config and security

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any specific questions about running on top of AWS and I will help.

Security Groups are probably the hardest part..

Go for Google cloud platform GCP.

It works perfect and you not need all that stuff and it is faster then AWS and cheaper.

I very happy with they service and runs pefect with oxwall/skadate

Combine with cloudflare and you have great protection.

AWS is great to but i suggest no hire anyone better learn do it you self. I was have no server skills and i was just follow free guides on internet and learned all by my self.

many great videos to follow on youtube.

Go for Debian OS and Webmin for handle your server.

RDS databse i think no need setup? why need external database that slows down speed?

I can now confirm OpenLiteSpeed and Cyberpanel with HTTP3 is fully working with Oxwall

https://console.cloud.google.com/marketplace/details/gc-image-pub/cyberpanel?q=litespeed%20technologies-public&id=4a581331-ec24-4b77-9af3-eea02e291e4f

I highly recommend this performance package on GCP and AWS and other cloud platforms.

Just some clicks and you ready to go.

Not forget add cloudflare as firewall or some other CDN with firewall features for easy setup with little knowledges about security and servers.

HTTP3 is the future and the right way to go!

Try it folks!

Thanks for the info Ghost.   However its still a bit early, according to this

https://caniuse.com/#feat=http3

its not fully supported by default by any browsers other than Safari.  Even though it can be enabled in certain FF and Crome versions, its still a bit early to call it standard just yet....

Yes . but just some weeks we will see it live in many browsers :)

https://developers.cloudflare.com/http3/intro/chrome/

So better stay updated then not updated. that is how i want oxwall works to :)

Always prepared for the future then later prepar when everyone already add it

Anyways, the performance with a litespeed web server is not many that can beat :)

No mather what you will bee happy with this easy to use cyberpanel that no need server skills to handle :)

Again some simple cliks and you ready to run a oxwall website on googles own servers that very cheap

i run on ram 1,7 gb and works perfect and the cost i much cheaper then AWS and any other expensive low speed servers companys that hire third part networks for they companys.

Google they build they own FIBER network around the world :) AWS and Azure follow but i think google is soon win the race.

Acctualy Azure is fastest i read but they setup for CDN and instance are not user friendly and they support

Something else i discovered yesterday, i checked my host and 3 others and none of them support http3, and mine does not support quic or http3.

I also did not see any road map that they will be updating soon.   So although to some like you with your own server, it is a great move, but for shared hosting it will take some time (maybe years) to get http3 auto enabled or set as default.

So for the most part this is a VPS or DEDI only feature for now.

is there people still use shared servers that run oxwall? pay for what? slow third part  networkwith slow responsive time.

anyways this was about AWS from the start and i think we steel the topic right now

i end my discussion here about http3

I did not mean to upset you, i was just sharing information about http3.   And i did not think you were only about AWS, in that case then yes you are correct.

It actually affects performance more having the DB and Web Server together on the same server Ghost...
