I have a pretty large table called "kkbase_search_result" with over 6,000,000 rows, its totalling over 270mb.
What is this table for and can I empty the results?

Hmm it may have been generated by this plugin "Search Plus (with top search Widget like Facebook)". I emptied the table anyway and it had no obvious effect but has grown again rapidly. I'm might disable the plugin just to confirm it.

I disabled and uninstalled the plugin mentioned above but yet this table still grows...I dont have many plugins active to be honest so I am at a loss as to what it is and the cause of the growing table

May be other non-standard plugins are using it.
If I had a dump of it or access, I can have a look for you.
