One of the questions we ask our members is what country they reside in, we have used the text box for there answers which is open to stupidity and human error. So to keep the quality of our database high and the ability for users to search for people in the same country we tried to add a new profile question. With the new profile question we selected a single choice option using the drop down menu. This is limited to 31 values though so we cant add all the countries etc.....Has anyone got any ideas? OR do you know how to increase the value so we can add more than 31 options to a drop down box?

Thats the complex change to be done in the core. Developers has done a design that way.

There has to be a way to hack this 31 values only limit.

Roger, this was discussed a lot of time. As you know Oxwall is a small team and we do our best to fillfull users' needs. However we have more important cases to fix and develop.

come on guys. How many website out there don't ask what country your from on sign up?
this was discussed years ago and then again months ago before 1.8 came out.
I don't think a google maps plug in will cut it with this anymore.
Why isnt it even featured in the upcoming things on the roadmap? (it should be)

dozens of people have suggested this in different post there
2 years ago one of them was second highest voted for under native video uploader
and when video uploader was removed it was the highest voted for
witch does not seam to be there now and theres nothing anywhere near the amount of votes it has so looks like it was removed as well
more then likely removed because plugin country flag does this
uservoice is completely useless dont waste your time with it you will just get frustrated and angry

i have just spent 30 minutes looking at uservoice and the 2 posts i put in there over 2 years agothat well over a year ago one had 60 votes the other about 20 have been removed as well

the games plugin in store has not been developed in years none of the fixes i and many have sent to the dev have not been implicated but the dev can find time just to do platform updates if needed 2 times in the last 3 years from memory
and they declined the games plugin with

please stop telling people to use something that is useless and that is not kept fair
as in the end you post on uservoice will be removed or declined like native video uploader that had almost 1000 votes and was removed with theres already one in the store
the video uploader in store has never worked from the day it was put in there
and will never be fixed as the dec signed a contract with some one that payed him to fix it stating he can never fix the store version
