Yes, I installed the new version and saw that there are now widgets for dahsboard and index (with sidebar). But the layout is terrible, so that I can hardly use it. The widgets on dahsboard and index look very different from the ones on the original YN News page: images too big, text under images and not at the right side etc. The search widget doe snot fit into the sidebar - size cannot be changed... It's not well done

oh. I replaced the default image in the system with a new re-sized version. Just copy it. Re-size to the same size as the others. Then log in to your server and navigate into ynews and you'll find the default image and replace it. that's what I did. Other than that, its' working fine for me.

How Can I unfreeze search widget?

unfreeze? The ultimate news search widget? Probably need to contact manufacturer.
