just open a second account, call it David 1 and David 2

very easy to manage

making them do things to plugins will only make the app unstable and more difficult for all of us running multiple sites

so do us all a favor and just open a second dam account

I heard about this before ....i think it was tammy told me that he have emails spamming from his website. and now i thinking maybe this happen me before to because i have a bad reputation on hotmail and i try find out what the problem is but hotmail not want to telling me what happen and why i did get a bad reputation they very secret about tell people why mail not pass they spam filters and why a email get bad reputation. but soon i think this happen me to because in the beginning i was easy let out my ftp details and cpanel details.

and when i hear this problem over and over again a warning bell ringing very loud and this why i never want leave details like this to anyone not even skadate i want leave it to but they force me to do it everytime and they want access to everything.

i not like that and i feel there is other solutions like remote control where the client can see what the developer do that are more safe . it is only booking a time and do not tell me there is not a time both can bee online same time because then you are lie to me

ps. i know ross is a good man and i think if you was give him remote access much safe and easy to do

microsoft support are use remote access so why can not this guys use it.

they want keep secrets but we who use they software can not keep secrets, again i not like that

/Marcus

Marcus are you sure you have the right topic, what you said does not make sense regarding the topic. The topic is about the store and having multiple sites that use the same plugins.  What does that have to do with spam or microsoft?

Marcus, Alex, I believe you made a post in the wrong topic, please create a separate post with your requests.

For the record... Marcus is right. That's exactly what happened to me.

Alex, I never said to do anything with the plugins... and you don't know it would make them unstable, anyway, if they did.  If you actually read what I wrote.... the issue was with the accounts... NOT the plugins, directly.  And no, I don't want two accounts here. I want to manage all my Oxwall information in ONE place.  Not to mention that you can't have two accounts with the same credit card information anyway. And if you COULD... THAT would be unsafe. People could just steal your bank info and use it all over the Oxwall site, and pass it around to the next guy.  So.. no I will not "open a seconds damned account".... and I will ignore your rude comments as well... since I want to keep the forum clean and helpful.

David thank you for being professional and taking the upper road on that...

I too would like to see something done with this because when i test my plugins sometimes i have to test them on different servers. For example one with ffmpeg and one without.  And i run into this for different reasons all the time.  And all the time i have to reset my ip so that i dont get flagged for using my own plugin on my other server lol.

I have not tried to grant myself another key yet but that might be an idea, im not even sure if that will work, and honestly im afraid to try because i dont want to take the chance of something in the system flagging me for doing so if that process exists.

So yes people with different servers who want to use the same plugin on different  servers need a way to do this (i didnt say the same key i said the same plugin)

Hello David, please PM me your cpanel access details, admin access to the websites and access details to your oxwall.org account, we'll take a look at the issue with the plugin licenses.

Ross... I only gave out those details ONE time... to a developer here at Oxwall.  2 days later my FTP, and everything else was hacked... things were uploaded to my root folders and my email address was shut down because someone used it to spam not HUNDREDS, but thousands. I finally got the site cleaned up and off of their blacklist.  I know who did this, and my web host watched them log into their servers.  In the meantime... I cannot, in the interest of this pending case... release that personal information to anyone else.  I know this defeats the purpose of my inquiry here... and I feel badly about that... but i don't trust some of the people you allow to develop and sell plugins here at the site.... and I don't know how secure it is anymore, after recent events.  I'm very sorry.

David, if you and your host have documented proof such as logs of this developer doing  such an incredible violation of trust and illegal activity then i highly recommend that you send a report to the moderation team at oxwall

moderation_team@oxwall.org

and lets try to get that developer gone, termed, out of here....   It helps all of us not to have such a developer any part of Oxwall, and i would like to see that person in jail actually.

Let me go further and say that you should report even the hint of such a violation because if this person is doing this to you, they are doing this to others as well and if oxwall receives multiple complaints they can act on it easier.

It's out of my hands. The problem regarding the hacking of my site(s) is being handled by my web hosting service, since it was their servers that were breached.  I can't do anything in that regard, since I don't own the actual servers.  But I've been assured that it's being taken care of as we speak.
