It seems like after Oxwall did indeed stay online and get some small glimmers of hope, the hype and liveliness of owengine seems to have died off fast. Has anyone heard anything about them updating? They stated their free store plugin was coming July 30th, but there's just been nothing there.

I have Notifications working for Desktop and Mobile, but now need to hook into events to be able to send them properly.
Naturally, we'll probably AT LEAST want Notifications on receiving a New Message. More
