You can do this in /ow_plugins/newsfeed/components/UpdateStatus.php
Just a correction.. Its update_status.php actually.
Change the below line $field->setInvitation( OW::getLanguage()->text('newsfeed', 'status_field_invintation') );
to
$userName = BOL_UserService::getInstance()->getDisplayName(OW::getUser()->getId());$field->setInvitation( OW::getLanguage()->text('newsfeed', 'status_field_invintation',array('userName'=>$userName)) );
And then in your language page, change text for the keystatus_field_invintation.
What’s happening? to What’s happening {$userName}?

No offense to Sumate but, and I know this is offtopic (but following the off-topic conversation going on in this thread):

The butler plugin is at a pretty large price to just add a bunch of language strings into a component. If it was cheaper, it'd be a convenience. If you need the functionality, consider using jQuery and some custom HTML in page-placed components to achieve the effect.

hello i released first version (BETA) Oxwall Plus. I sell some oxwall plugin and don't want to platform die. I tried submit commits on oxwall github, but they never push it, so i started working on fork.

This is Beta version. so you can install it and tested to eliminate possible bugs. I focus on optimize oxwall, so i add option enable db cache or file cache, so you site can load faster. Second change is for multilanguages sites, now you can set for other languages (other than default) their iso code in urls, eg. domain.com/de or in subdomains, eg. de.domain.com (you must set first wildcard DNS record or add subdomains and point it to main domain dir). I did as per your instructions but unfortunately i can't seem to update via the Admin. Is there a way to update via FTP / File manager or like how we update the default oxwall oxwall using the /ow_updates route ?

First, do backup

Second, did you upload two file from oxwall updater to ow_system_plugins dir? Send me, if you want, via pm admin access and ftp access, then i can try help you, but first do backup files and mysql

you can upload oxwall plus update package and upload everything, then go on url site.com/ow_updates/index.php

The Owengine have one BIG advantage they are going release NATIVE android and ios mobile apps.

So i not sure yet what version i would build up my business on....
